Versa's screen not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

around 3 days ago my Fitbit versa started to freak out a bit and would vibrate and change through the stats on the main screen rapidly for about a minute and then stop. It did this a few times before the screen going completely blank. When I have it on charge you can see the glow of the screen on but is completely black. Has been in charge for over a day and will not turn on. Have tried to factory reset by holding buttons down but with bit success. I have recently updated both my iPhone to iOS13 and also the Fitbit app. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

@KaiteC welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen won't turn on. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the screen issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

The same thing is happening to me. The first thing I noticed is that the touch screen wasn’t working, then it would speed through all the stats randomly. I I’ve also tried to reset and factory reset multiple times. At first it would reset fine, then it would reset and just get to the Fitbit logo, not it’s just a blank blue/black screen that doesn’t reallystay on for more than a minute or so. I’m at a point now where my app can’t even find my Versa via Bluetooth.

@NZcoach thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps you mentioned above.

I'd just like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try changing the clock face. Make sure that it's not a third party clock face (just for the test) and see if your Versa's display comes back to life.

Let me know how it goes!

I'm not able to choose a clock face since there is only a blank screen that
is on for less than a minute. I'm not able to even select anything.
