@Chloe_100 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen is not working properly and it's not connecting to your phone.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit and see if the screen works properly.
Regarding the connection issues, please follow the troubleshooting steps listed in this help page. This article also contains the restart process but you can skip it if you already tried it. Finally, monitor your watch and see if it connects with your phone.
