Versa's screen unresponsive and battery drains fast

I received a Fitbit Versa 2 for Christmas. At first it worked well but the steps were way off! I would get 200+ steps just blow drying my hair. I changed the watch setting to my dominate hand and it helped a little bit didn’t fix anything.
My watch now will eat up battery extremely quickly and the watch face is unresponsive. I can get it to light up with a wrist movement (when it feels like it) but to touch the screen I can not access any of the features, and I can’t get into the menu even with the button. When I went to bed last night I have 45% battery, it was completely dead by 9am.
I have turned it off and back on by holding the side button until it restarts and this helps for about a day. I even did a full factory reset and that fixed the screen issue for a week.

My next call is to customer support, but thought I would try here first.

Thanks for any help!
