So I woke up the other morning and my Fitbit was dead I thought it was a bit odd because I charged it 2 days prior so I put it on the charger it lit up 0% reset and started charging I came back an hour later tapped the screen it popped up fully charged so I took it off and put it on but the second I removed it from the charger it shut off again. Its really weird because my app also shows the watch is fully charged the alarms still go off (when charging) but if I take it off it the screen goes dead.

Thanks for sharing those details on the situation. I'd like to take a closer look at the situation.
I'll be moving this thread to the Versa board as I think it is better suited for it.
The first thing I want to do is to ask you some questions:
In the meantime, if you have not, please try to restart your Versa. That should help in getting it to respond and for the screen to come back on.

Hi, I'm also having this issue. My versa turns off immediately after taking it off charge. The HR lights are not on and there's no response at all, it won't even restart.
Please can you advise.

I have just set up my versa today and am having the same problem. I charged it over night last night to ensure it was fully charged. I set it up this morning as per the instructions. However, It has not worked at all, no steps have been counted, it will not sync unless connected to the charger. I have reset it and set it up again from scratch (including updating the software) and still as soon as i disconnect it from the charger it goes completely blank. But the screen will work whilst its connected to the charger, I can go through all the options on the device

Was there ever a solution to this problem? Mine was randomly turning off about a month ago, mostly when it got wet or was really hot out. Then it functioned fine for a month. Now it will not turn on unless it’s plugged in. Which does me absolutely no good. Mine is passed the warranty but only 1.5 years old. This type of product should not do that.

Nope! There was never a solution, I contacted them and they replaced my device, mine was literally brand new so must have been defective. Id suggest contacting them, they may offer to replace or money towards a new one, you're right they should last more than 18 months, im sure the warranty is two years within Europe rather than one year.

I’m having the same problem. I contacted them. They were consistent with communication for maybe 2 emails and I haven’t heard back since. Mine is still under warranty. I don’t know what to do.

They had no solution for me. And since mine was out of warranty by 6 months, they offered a small discount on a new product. Went with an Apple instead. I don’t want to chance getting another Versa that’s going to die again in 18 months.
