Versa's screen won't turn on

So I took a shower Saturday with my Fitbit on on Saturday and a few hours later my watch stopped working. I was out of town and had to wait until I got home to find out maybe it was water damaged. I placed it in rice after 2 days (Tuesday) and left for over 36 houras and nothing. Today my cellphone (Wednesday)was ringing and then I could hear my phone buzzing in the rice. Now I have a green light....meaning the sensor is working but my screen is still out. Maybe a year  ago I had to get a replacement because my screen popped off in the shower at random. And because of that I try not to use it in the shower. Although I have been swimming with it on and no issues. I got a replacement for that issue but now this. 😞 Is there something else I can do or do I need to just contact support?

@FeliciaWasHere2, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen went blank and wont't turn on. By the way, thank you for trying the rice workaround before contacting our forums.

 

Please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, no a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

I actually tried that after I took it out the rice. I can tell it works
because I felt it vibrate when it came back on but the screen is still
blank. I got a notification that the battery was low so I charged it and
still nothing on the screen.

I have done that but still the screen won't show up.
