I have been apart of the fitbit community for over 5 years. I stand by this product to help monitor my health progress. Within the past two years the manufacturing of their product has been poor. My Charge2 died a little past the 12 month warranty. Fitbit stated the only thing they could offer was 25% to purchase a similar product(by the way this item was no longer available so I had to upgrade). I purchased the Versa 12/18. My battery kept dying and it died 14 months later, just past the 12 month warranty. This time i was offered 40% toward my next purchase but those watches are running 199.00 and above. At this point I am asking fitbit to check into how they are manufacturing these watches. I am apart of a fitbit community and similar situation happened to others in my group. Please note none of my watches were physically damage and the charging ports worked. My friends charged their watches on my port so that it not the issue.. it's was the watches! At this point I am questioning whether FITBIT is intentionally selling defected watches with poorly made brains that will go out just over 12 months, than offer the consumer 25% to 40% towards the next higher priced watch to keep the consumer investing in their product. If so that is not right! As a consumer I purchase quality items for my dollar and I choose not to purchase after market products that will break and fail in a limited amount of time. I am asking someone to look into this issue and contact me ASAP about this situation.

Hi @ltimmons62, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
I'm sorry to hear that your Versa stopped working. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of first setup of the original unit.
I totally understand how frustrating this is for you and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.
