Have you tried putting it on charge. On your app go to set up new device and click on that. ??When it goes into search mode it should find your fitbit and reinstall it.this worked for me.

Yes there is it took me ages, if you have a red circle with a x then I
deleted my Fitbit app from my cellphone and reinstalled. This then gave me
a message on the app to update the Fit Bit which I did by eventually get my
cell phone on blue tooth to update my Fitbit. It took about 3 attempts to
get my Fit Bit updated and about at least 1 hour. Good luck.

I didn't I just tried everything I could think of and looked at other
people's posts about the problem which a lot of Fit Bit owners have
experienced.

What worked for me:
Granted Fitbit access to everything required on my cell phoneHooked the Versa 2 up to the charger (Leave it there throughout the process)Delete the Versa 2 from the Fitbit AppOn the Fitbit app, select add a new deviceFollow the setup instructions on the Fitbit app
This allowed me to reinstall my Versa 2. It required an update to be installed and that took some time so patience is a necessity. That was a couple of days ago and the watch is still working fine.

This did not work for me. Even after removing the blue tooth device from my phone and restarting the phone, then doing yet another factory reset on the versa lite, it still gave me the “data not cleared sync and try again “ error. I then tried the “force restart” which did absolutely nothing. I still have the error and a useless 5 month old Fitbit.

It seems that we have found a work around this problem, maybe Fitbit should
employ us to fix the problem. Then we can charge the Earth for our fixes.

That's all I have. I don't work for Fitbit, I'm a consumer , like you, that found a work around that worked for me. Sorry if it hasn't helped you but there's nothing I can provide which I haven't already.

I don’t know how many hours I have wasted trying to get my versa lite to work. I have tried everything. I’m super frustrated. $300 watch....you think it would work for more than 4 months!!! My phone can no longer find the device. My Fitbit is stuck on data not cleared. I’ve reset I don’t know how many times. Nothing is working. Please help!

I tried everything that people said on here and nothing worked. So What worked for me was as follows. I put my fitbit on charge.  On my fitbit app i went into add new device. Click on that and it should start searching for for your device. Do not try and do it on Bluetooth.  If you have fast internet service do it on WiFi. Hope this helps you good luck.

Since these people are using a Versa Lite which does not have WiFi that's not possible

It did not help unfortunately. I am very disappointed in this. I feel like I have tried everything...nothing is working. Probably wasted at least 12-15 hours over the last couple of weeks. 🤬🤬
