Versa says Data not cleared Sync and try again

After following the recommended factory reset instructions for this firmware update, I can no longer get my Versa to show anything other that the above message, Any help would be welcomed

If you don't get any answers that help. Look online for the Fitbit, USA and 1-800 number. They helped me in 5 minutes with a replacement! Sure beats going through all the rep's for hours on end.

Okay leave it off go to your app. Click set up a device.click on versa 2. And follow instructions eventually it would say pair to Bluetooth and that’s when you pair it. I hope it helps my comment got delete, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this one those too so hurry

Hey guys! So it fixed! What I did was, removed the device on the app. I
forgot the device on WiFi and redid everything as if it was new.. it will
ask you to update before it can sync.. after the update was complete, my
time came back.. try it and let me know if it works!

Don't you mean remove it from Bluetooth?  Anyway, no, it didn't work for me. Thanks though.

There's been many post about this problem posted, many have worked, all you
can do is try them. It's a known issue
And still Fitbit is not taking it seriously enough, so have a look on
Fitbit Community and hopefully you can get it sorted out. If still not
working get back to me.

my versa lite has been unpaired and deleted from my phone and the fitbit app but it would not connect Bluetooth so i decided to try and factory reset it , but now it shows data not cleared sync and try again
i have tried restarting the watch
i have tried restarting the phone
off and on bluetooth multiple times
force reset of watch
but the same thing is show
 
NOTHING WORKS

I have had same issues since last Saturday. Nothing has sorted it. Feel like throwing my fitbit away and going to another company.

when i reach step 5 it asks to put the watch to charge. although I do, it tells me that the watch is not charging and doesn't move forward

Put the watch on charge before attempting to do anything with it, make sure
it's showing charging. Remove the cache of the app on your phone then
remove the app on the phone. After that you start the the process of
installing the Fitbit as though it's a new install. You will loose any data
but hopefully you will able to update the watch. Do all of this on wifi.

Hi I tried everything u posted and nothing has worked I have the verse 2 and it would sync to my phone so I tried everything and when I went to factory reset the device the message popped up and idk what to do please help me.
