Did you mean:

Versa screen blank but can feel vibrations

My versa isn’t but a few months old. I never submerge it in water, if it gets wet when I wash my hands I dry it off. Yesterday shortly after charging, the screen started shaking and random lines appeared across the screen. I turned it on and off. Reset it. Everything. Now it’s completely black and I can’t see anything but it still vibrates with calls and notifications!!

Any tips on how to fix this?! I’ve emailed customer service but I haven’t heard back yet!

Hello @Odenthegreat13

I would make sure your screen wake is set to Auto and not Manually.

It’s on auto. I can see where the screen is trying to come on. But it’s just blank

Well, this might be a job for customer support.

Click on the link Fitbit help in my signature and scroll down to lets talk. I would send them an email or try the chat.

I wasn’t that lucky. I wrote them an email, they have sent me back the reset to factory settings, but it did not work.

I have replied to theyr email some 12 hours ago, but no answer...

the replacements are returned watches. This is what I am going through at the minute.

I think replacing a new watch with a used one is ridiculous when it is their fault.

i quit on discussing with them, they are so annoing
i perfomed all the resets/ reinstall/ try on different other 3 smartphones

Spoke with customer service yesterday and they advised me to scrub the actual device with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush and then cotton swab with rubbing alcohol the charger port... like that's gonna do a **ahem** thing. Gotta call them again today to see what else they "suggest". Not happy! 😔

Did you ever get it fixed.  My screen is black. You can see a partial white line at the top.  When someone calls or texts it vibrates and glows but I cannot see anything at all.   The day before it got lines in the screen and got glitchy but then it was fine.  And then the next day it died and I charged and now it won’t show anyhrjbf.   The green lights still flash on the back.     Is it done?

I called customer support and did the various troubleshooting they suggested, but nothing doing. Mine was still under the year warranty from date of original purchase, so they sent me a brand new one. Took about 4 days to arrive and it works great.Best of luck!

Hy,
they have sent a replacement which works OK, but sync, notifications and
wi-fi works seldom!!!
I have tried with the with the "customer care" to find a solution but I
just ended the conversations even more frustrated.
I definitely DO NOT recommend Versa!!!

I had this happen to my own versa. Tech support got as far as sending the email "we will escalate you problem higher......blah blah blah". That was 6 months ago......still haven't heard anything back. And now my wife is going through this same problem with her Versa2. I don't see us buying another fitbit watch for a long time. If ever. And now that I know IF they decide to send a "replacement" that it's just a refurbished one, i may not even bother.

Hey FitBit.....still waiting on a response about my other watch btw!
