I had my fitbit on while I was in the pool and the device stopped working. I typically take my versa off when I get wet just to be safe but this time I just kept it on because it's supposed to be somewhat waterproof. The device had a very low charge and was fine in the water for several minutes before the watch restarted a few times and then completely stopped working. I went to dry it off and removed the band and the glass screen protector I use to keep the surface from getting scratched and even though I was very careful and barely lifted it, it caused the entire screen to come up. The screen is still somewhat connected by the inner components and I am going to attempt to dry it out but am not sure what to do. I don't know if it is repairable but I really don't want to have to buy a new watch because it is only about a year old and I have been very careful with it.

I've seen quite a few posts reporting this problem (this is the 3rd I have replied to today). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be repairable and the advice seems to be to contact customer support who can check your warranty status and advise on your options: contact.fitbit.com
