I received my Versa on Father's Day---it is three weeks old. Today, July 8th, the screen is OK for a few seconds and then goes gray and then begins to flicker. The support person and I tried to do several restores---but it is hard to restore it when you cannot read the screen. I was finally instructed to take a picture of the screen (I also took a video) along with the case #. I am not liking this much. I an thinking about simply going back the the Charge 2 or purchasing a Garmin.

Sorry to hear of your problems.
Definitely sounds like a hardware failure, you were right to open a support case. Hopefully they will sort your issue out quickly now and get you back up and running.

I also have same problem with my Versa that is just a month old. Sent and email to support waiting for reply. I actually enjoyed my Versa until now.
