Versa screen freezes and the battery drains fast

My Versa freezes multiple times daily.  Each time it does I have to reboot it.  In addition to this problem, it's running my batter down nearly daily.  The battery is supposed to last 4 days, yesterday I charged it, and woke to find not only was the screen frozen (again and that was reboot #1), but the battery which last night was at 99% was now down to 20%.  Since 8 AM, I have needed to reboot the Versa two additional times.

Hi @edcallahan44, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the screen and battery draining issues that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch
  6. Finally, try the tips listed in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your watch.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
