Versa screen has coloured lines and it's hard to read

Ok so this is my 3rd Versa watch in around 2 years (it was replaced twice due to the device going dead both times). Now I’ve got multiple coloured lines going down the screen so you can’t see the display. It still syncs though.

I’ve tried restarting the device 3 times and plugging it in to charge. I’ve also changed the clock face.

So this makes 3 faulty watches. This model is such a bad one. I’ve not been in touch with support as the live chat is showing unavailable.

any helpful ideas would be appreciated.

Hi @Itsanadventure, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen if your Fitbit Versa has coloured lines and it's hard to read. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you and we appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.

After this, set up your watch from scratch and see if the screen issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi

I can’t see the screen well enough to see when the Fitbit logo appears.

Thanks. Not happy to be honest. None of the versa’s i have had have lasted more than a year. Some much less. I’ll stick to a more basic model from now on.
