Versa screen has developed green lines

Today my Versa started to get stripes down the scree which developed so all that was on the display was coloured stripes, the forums suggested resetting the watch and deleting from the app then adding it to the app again which I tried but  it needed charging according to the app which I did. Now I have a hot watch with a black unresponsive screen, is it dead?
