Versa screen has developed vertical lines and it won't work when taking it off the charger

Hi there, I’m so bummed, my Versa is saying it’s 100% charged but when I take it off the charger it turns off immediately. 

 

Then when I put it back on the cradle it restarts and vibrates once. Also it’s displaying vertical lines. 

 

I've tried different electrical outlets, and charging sources all with same results. 

I've also updated the app software. 

Please help! I don’t know how I’ll

live without my beloved Fitbit Versa Smartwatch!
