Versa screen is blank and it won't turn on

My Versa screen is on but blank. It still syncs with my phone. I have changed the clock face twice and tried all of the tips indicated online and on this community board (fully charging, holding left button for 30 sec, holding left and bottom right button, holding all three buttons). The screen turns on but is blank. What do I do next?

Hi @KateSzp, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Fitbit Versa won't turn on. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if the screen turns on properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

My versa light is doing the same thing. It's fully charged. But the screen is black. I've held the button for 30+ seconds and nothing at all happens.

I have tried this three times now. When I hold all the buttons for any amount of time. The screen flashes brighter on and dims but the Fitbit logo never appears. After I let go of all of the buttons, i the screen stays on for 5-10 seconds and then goes dim and then goes black. When I push any buttons, it dimly lights on still blank. In all of my attempts to fix this I have never seen the Fitbit logo flash.

Hi Joe,

This method did not work, as I posted on the blog, I never saw the Fitbit logo, the screen stays blank but brightens and dims as I push and hold the buttons.

What do I do now?

Thanks,
KateSzp
