Versa screen no long shows anything after update

After this update, my Versa can sync but the screen is black (occasionally it glows and vibrates).  No logo on restart (soft or hard), no clock, nothing.  This watch is under a year old.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I've been having the exact same issue over the last week. I've tried various suggestions from Fitbit support (restart, check cable cord of charger, ensure charging prongs are clean) and still nothing works. I can get it to go on now, but within less than an hour a black screen again. I got it on last night around 10pm and it had a battery saying 90%. I woke up at 7am to watch at 0%. Put it on the charger and still only a black screen. I did the restart again and deleted the watch face and replaced it with a Fitbit developed watch face in case this is the problem. Now I will wait in see if I get a black screen again. This watch is only a little over a year old.

I don't even see anything other than a vague glow, but it did buzz when my phone rang.

Yes that vague glow is what I get as well. I did this for 10 secs and got it go on

1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen (hold it for at least 10 secs)

2. Let go of the buttons

This got the device to go on but it keeps returning to that vague glow and then I have to do the above steps all over again.

the first time I did the reset I held the buttons for a really long time. maybe try that. this morning i changed my clock face to a Fitbit developed clocked and my watch seems to be working. I will know for sure if it working if the watch is still operational in the morning.
