Versa screen shrinks and it shows thick lines

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Versa which was working fine, but since 10 days it shows thick lines on the left and right and appears as if the screen is shrinking. I wear my versa all the time and also charge it on a regular basis. I found a similar thread similar to my problem and I did the restart and changing the clock face as mentioned in that but it doesn't seem to work. Need help.

Hi @vineethkumar87, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen seems to shrink and it shows thick lines. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.

Finally, monitor your watch and see if the screen issues disappear.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I tried everything as instructed, it still doesnt help. Infact now it appears like there is a thick bright border on all 4 sides.

Juan,

I have tried everything that you told. But nothing worked. What should I do?
