I plugged in versa to my charger. It doesn't go anywhere from the screen it shows (below is the picture url). I don't even see the charging %. I tried to pair it with my iPhone using the fitbit app. The app doesn't detect it. I also followed instructions in this forum to reset it using the theee buttons trick. That didn't work as well( I didn't see the watch vibrate and the reset happening). Can you check out the pictures and tell me what the problem could be?

I spoke to customer service. They confirmed that the struck screen could probably mean that a software update was interrupted. That is why the screen is going no where and for struck there.
They asked me to return it and would seems a replacement.

I wonder perhaps if it isn't sitting correctly in the charger. I had to fiddle with mine a bit to make sure the pins were lined up to get it to charge. Also, make sure there are no other blue tooth devices anywhere nearby when you try to pair it. Blue tooth seems to be easily confused, and I often have to turn it off and on again on my iPhone to get it to find my trackers and sometimes even reboot the phone itself.
