My husband and I have had our Fitbit Versa's since March of last year and hadno issues. He went to do the update when he saw it in the app and since then the Fitbit has been rendered useless. It started the update and then the screen turned to a greenish color and eventually the Fitbit logo appeared and that is where it stays. We've tried draining the battery by letting it sit, tried a factory reset, power on/off and nothing happens. Really disappointed the manufacturers update ruined a device that was working just fine minutes before the update.

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa since the screen got stuck on the Fitbit logo. I totally understand how you feel about this. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
In order to avoid providing the same information, please let me know how the factory reset was performed.
In the meantime, try a regular restart. To do so, follow the steps listed in this help article. After this, check out if the issue gets fixed.
