Versa screen went black and won't turn on

I’ve completed all of the recommendations on here to charge & then hold all 3 buttons down. Nothing has helped. The watch is only a year old now. Any other recommendations?

I would like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger.

 

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

This is too coincidental. Does Fitbit make a subpar product that dies within a year so you have to purchase a new 1? Anyone else reconsidering their decision to have purchased a Fitbit when you were offered a smart watch at a similar price?

I am currently having the same problem.  My screen is black and I cannot charge it. I'be cleaned like was recommended.  Any other suggestions.

Mine is also just a year old. This happened to me last night and Ive tried all the recommended fixes as well. However, mine does still sync with the app, vibrate when I get notifications and when charging. The screen just stays black.

I would reach out to customer service. Chances are the watch is dead. Hopefully you are within a year so they will replace it otherwise they will give you a minimal discount. #Horrible

Mine is showing that it is sporadically syncing but not actually ever on. So pathetic. Our watches are about a yr old & no longer working. #fitbitfailure

This is just too ironic that we are all having the same issues. Sounds like Fitbit made a product that lasts a year. #horrible

Same thing happened to me - it continued to track and sync, charge, and vibrate (including for alarms) but the screen wouldn't turn on and the buttons didn't do anything - so the alarms would go off for 2 minutes, stop, then go for another 2 minutes 10 minutes after the original alarm - since I couldn't dismiss it. Thankfully I bought mine third-party with a squaretrade warranty, and was able to recoup most of the value to buy another one.

I purchased both of my versas from eBay with square trade warranties
because this is a known issue with Versas just out of manufacturer warranty
and Fitbit support doesn't offer any options for repair.
