Versa screen went black

I swam today for the fifth time in a row and after today’s swim my Versa’s screen is black and buttons are not responding and my app can’t detect my Versa. It’s my understanding that you can swim down to 50 meters, but I was only in a backyard swimming pool.

I feel like my Versa died because I swam with it but read and was also told by Fitbit that you can swim down to 50 meters. I really want to swim with my replacement Fitbit, but I’m afraid that it will die too. What is your opinion?

Thank you,
