Hi there, @Shivaagupta. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out.

As per the description of your post, it seems like your watch might have ran out of battery. That would explain why the restart didn't work and the screen won't turn on. With that being said, I'd suggest trying the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the above steps don't work, I'd suggest performing a restart by following the steps below (please remove your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth before performing this step):

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Hope that helps.

I am having the same problem. Fitbit was fully charged. It went blank I can't restart it and nothing happens when I put it on the charger. Interesting that several people are experiencing similar problems.

Mine isn't blank, but not working correctly since the firmware update a few days ago. My screen flickers to darkness and then shuts off. The screen will turn on again, but will flicker to off. I tried putting it on the charger. It fixed it for a few hours, but the flickering returned.

Yes, this is very odd

That is how mine started.  Flickering between the screens and then had the fitbit logo on it...then nothing

Mine too...

Ok guys,

I talked to customer service.  They first told me to hook it up to a computer for an hour(i did it for like 4hrs) it did nothing. I called back and they(fitbit) will check your account for a warranty claim.  I just got a return ticket in an email so we will see what happens.  i hope this helps but this is super weird we are all affected by the same issue.

Have a good one

I agree with you, but mine is 1 month over 1 year. So out of warranty 😭

Mine is 4 years old, so I guess it's just done!

Just call them and see what they can do...it won't hurt to try and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Mine is pretty old, too. They should fix the firmware or allow us to roll it back to the previous version.

I definitely agree but it looks like the issue we are all having "bricked" the trackers.  Computers and mobile devices don't even see since the last time it was sync'd, and chargers don't even promote any tracker activity.Even though it's old I would still call since the issue was not due to any of our doing.
