Versa screen won't turn on

I put my Versa on the charger overnight. This AM, the Versa was very warm, and the display had the wrong time. 

 

The Fitbit logo appeared and then everything went black on the screen.

 

I tried to reset it to no avail.

My fitbit died the other day, and wouldn't charge on the charger. I've tried different usb ports and outlets, cleaning it, restarting it, and leaving it on the changer overnight. Still won't turn on. However, it does get hot when left on the charger for an extended period of time. Any other things I could try to fix it?
