Versa seems not to be tracking the distance accurately as I compare it with my husband's Fitbit

My husband and I walk together, same path, side by side.
His Versa records 3.34 miles while mine records 2.73 miles.
This happens every day.
Any answers out there.
Thanks

Are you using GPS to track your walks or just the exercise tracking without GPS?

Thank you for reading my post.
Yes, I do use GPS.
I tried both ways, without GPS and with it. It did not change my results.
Could it be linked to stride length?

There are some users who do believe that the algorithm does use stride length even with GPS on. Have you checked your stride length? If you have a track and field oval near you, try walking it to check out your stride length. Or find some place where there are mile markers to do the same. I have a bike path near me with mile markers that I used to check mine.
