I have received my Versa Thursday and after 2 hours of charging it. The battery got drained within 6 hours. I have charge it on a PC. last night, slept with the watch to wake up to see my watch is down to 0%. Any other user having this problem? Should I waiy for an update to correct that or its a harware problem. Thank you for your answers.

My battery life was about 1.5 days. I turned off a lot of functions (to the point that it was not worth having a smart phone). I tried running the battery all the way down and recharging over 2 hours. Meanwhile, my husband's would easily last 4 days. To eliminate the possibility that it was an issue with smart phone, my husband I swapped our Versas. We set them up the same, and started wearing them at 4pm yesterday. This morning his (well, mine) was at 68% and mine (his) was 90%. Mine goes back to REI today! There is definitely something wrong with the battery. I sure hope the replacement is better. How did Fitbit allow so many bad batteries to get out there?

I’m with you all on the short battery life, had a live chat session last night and they made all kinds of suggestions, still not holding a charge. It might go back also.

I charged my fitbit versa last night around 9pm, work up this morning around 6am and saw that it dropped to 39% overnight. I don't wear mine at night, so it shouldn't have dropped like 60% overnight. It's ridiculous.

Same happened to mine and they ask me to wait for a replacement and don’t know timeline as they don’t have stock for replacement but there are tonnes on the shelves .. so they want $$ but not customer satisfaction.

The only thing I can think of is that I don't have the heat on at night and the temp here has dropped lately. So maybe the cold is sapping the battery. If that's the case, it's a horrible battery, because heck your phone can handle the low temps better than this thing. Still love the Versa, but my Charge 2 can hold a charge no problems.

I have been using my fitbit versa since the 16th. First few days I was using it a lot more and battery life was around 3 days now that i'm settled with my routine the batter is lasting me about 5 days now. I do manual sync instead of all day sync. This doesn't affect the notifications I receive from text, e-mail, facebook or whatsapp. I also been listening to music while walking say 20 minutes a day. I believe that may drain the battery a little more. If you're battery is dying within the day of charging I would think it's something wrong with the watch itself and to get fitbit to send a replacement.

My Versa was fine the first week. Then increasingly had to charge more and more often. Now it’s barely lasting 24 hrs. My Blaze lasted way longer than this and unfortunately I’ve already given it away. I don’t understand why we should have to turn off everything in order for it to hold a proper charge. All the adds say it should last 4+ days and show people listening to music etc. I’m not doing all day sync, don’t listen to music, etc. Will contact support but very disappointed in th Versa.

Not sure if this is an issue or defect or not but does anyone have a water spot like small circular discoloration on top of their versa special ed. Watch face in the outter box part in the black frame area to the right of the watch in between the two buttons ?
It's perfectly circular and wasn't sure if it is supposed to be there.

I've had the versa for around 3 weeks, I've tried everything that's been suggested to make the battery life last . I have no alarms set, no animated clock face the only notifications I get is from WhatsApp, I have screen set to Manual, clock face is on dim, vibration on low. I had the alta hr before I bought this and like a idiot I gave it away and I need one.with heart rate as I have health issues. Any other suggestions because I can't wait to send this off and get a replacement as it's needed every day.

Try doing a restart by holding the left and bottom right buttons until you see the Fitbit logo and see if it still discharges so fast. If that does not work, try letting it drain to zero and see if maybe the watch is showing a different reading than what percentage it actually is.
