I’m so sorry to hear that this frustrating occurrence is happening to you and wish I could offer you the magical solution. I don’t know whether I am being a helpful person or a mean one by sharing my similar situation. My versa of about one month seems to have practically kicked the bucket while I was sleeping last night, less than a week after noticing that I was only getting 1-2 days between charges (slowly and unfortunately declining down from a fabulous 4-5 day lifespan over the previous weeks). The screen was blank all day but still faithfully buzzing at me to move...that is until the 9:00ish hour, at which point it is failing to show any signs of life (and won’t connect to phone) I am hoping that our device  doesn’t follow the same tragic footsteps. Rest assured that you are not alone by any means with your frustration. Best of luck to you. 🙂

I have purchased the Fitbit Blaze one and half years ago in Hong Kong. I want to replace the battery as it cannot last long. But the Hong Kong dealer told me that they have no spare parts and battery. From this perspective, Fitbit is not socially responsible company; it encourages dumping workable watches. I am looking for a solution.

Same here. I just reached out to Fitbit customer service and they are passing on my case to determine if the device is defective. The funny thing is, it worked great until the latest update.

Hey @KymberlyD, I hope you are doin' fine! If you are having battery draining issues with your Versa, I urge you to take a look at the tips in this post to make it last longer. Remember that the battery of this watch is designed to last up to 4 days. If you have a lot of notifications enabled, it could last a little bit less. Please monitor how the battery level goes and keep me updated!

Have a nice day!

First I am very pleased with how FB support hasd dealt with my issues. But saying this battery is designed to last up to 4 days is NOT consistent with FB statement that the battery lasts 4+ days. What that means is one of those is not true or FitBit does not understand the basic concept of  +. I bought based on the simply understanding that 4 days was a minimum not a max.

I have seen many posts about the Versa’s short battery life.  I have had mine for about 3 months.  At first, it worked well with the promised 4 days.  Now it won’t hold a charge for one day.  I have tried various adaptations to preserve the battery but to no avail.  Is there a solution to this problem or is this the status quo?  At some point, it seems a bit counter-intuitive to purchase a device and then have to disable desirable functions to preserve a little battery life.  I have had many Fitbit’s and this is the first I have been dissatisfied with.

My Versa went the same way. The battery lasted 4-5 days from April-July. Then it went to lasting about 1 day on July 1. The past 2 days it is now lasting less than 12 hours. I contacted Fitbit support, and have a replacement on the way. It is either a Firmware issue or they have a bad batch of batteries.

I have the same exact issue and history. 3 weeks after purchased then suddenly bam. I have a call with tech support and they're having me do these really dumb test that make my decision to go with the Veras counter productive. Like Turing off GPS while exercising. I stressed to them that I hope this wasn't a solution but a way of seeing the problem. This is my 4th Fitbit and they do have a bad history with batteries.

I think it depends on the frequency of use on the watch. If you frequently turn it on, play a game on it, or use coach, you can expect the battery to drain. For me, my Versa dies about every 2 days, but that's because I use other programs and I also play music on it. If you don't do much on your watch and it still drains, you might want to turn off auto sync or Bluetooth perhaps. If even that doesn't help, I recommend you contact Fitbit support.

I also have this problem. I have had the Versa since the day it was released, and since then it has gone from almost 3 days to about a day and a half. Notifications are off,  I have it on manual push button and it still seems like I'm charging it every time I turn around. I got a bumper for the face, so it's a real pain to take that off every time it needs to be chargef. I don't use any of the apps and I don't play music. I can't imagine how short the battery life would be if I did. Don't get me wrong,  I love this watch/tracker but man it's a lot of work!

Mine is 2 months old and up until last Friday I would get nearly 5 days out of it. I charged it Thursday evening and put it on my wrist at 11 pm it was a 100% I woke up the next morning and it was dead and since last Friday I've reset it numerous times, turned continuous sync off etc and it's still dying in 6 hours. I've messaged Fitbit and have heard nothing back which is really annoying me.

Hi All,

I'm on My 2nd Fitbit Versa now and the battery life is awful again,I've done all the recommendations on the forums and fitbit help.

I charge it until it's 100% and the battery last one day,I've turned everything off as well (notifications etc)

My wife is using a Fitbit Alta HR and the battery life lasts ages,I'm thinking of downgrading to a Charge or Alta Myself.

My first fitbit was lasting less than a day with all features off. I tried everything what is being suggested on this community but the problem still persisted . Got a replacement from fitbit after 2 weeks. the current fitbit lasts around 10 days with all the features off. Continuous hr is always on. I sync it once a day. All notifications are set to off. I only remove my fitbit before going for a shower. I think there is a bad batch of fitbit in circulation. Kindly get it exchanged before the exchange warranty expires.
