Versa showing 'enter pin' for contactless pay

Hi

This morning my versa keeps buzzing with the notification to enter my pin for contactless pay (which isn't set up).

I'm not pressing any buttons or leaning on the screen, and I've restarted the watch and turned bluetooth on and off on my device.

Any ideas why this would be happening?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Lisa185. I am sorry for the delayed response. 

 

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Fitbit Versa keeps buzzing with the notification to enter your pin code. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue. Since you haven't set up the Fitbit Pay I recommend checking the device lock setting: 

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > your device image. 
  2. Tap Device Lock.

If the issue persists, please confirm if you've tried to turn off/on your device: On your watch, open the Settings app > About > Shutdown > confirm the shutdown. Please wait a few minutes and then turn your watch back on by pressing the back button.
