I don’t always wear my Fitbit versa to sleep. Last week I woke, my versa was on my night stand, I grabbed my phone, first, opened up the Fitbit app and the heart bpm kept changing numbers, it went up to the 160s and then back to 80s, but I wasn’t even touching the Fitbit. Typically when I don’t wear it, the app doesn’t show any number for bpm, it was very strange. It hasn’t happened again but was wondering if anybody else had that issue. Again, It had been on my night stand all night long and I wasn’t touching it.

Hello @SunsetRunner, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's always a pleasure for me to greet new members!
I appreciate you have taken the time to share your experience with us with many details. At this moment I would like to suggest you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Then, monitor it for the next few days and let me know if you're still seeing this odd behavior in your Versa and the app.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
