Did you mean:

Versa showing very high step count, yet the steps graph shows no where near the amount.

I believe this rules out accidental rattling of the versa being counted as steps, since the step graph would reflect that.

@Fineliners Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! How many steps were the Versa showing against the ones we can see on the app's screenshot? Did you sync your tracker to see if the data got updated? I ask since I noticed the app says it was 10:41 AM but it seems on the graph the last sync was done early in the morning.

I look forward to your reply!

I have this same issue! I’m so upset! It says on the main screen i have 58,000 steps but in actuality I’ve only walked 500. This is insane!

@jfalise Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Versa is showing this amount of steps. How many steps did you do the previous day? Where did you leave your Versa during the night or were you wearing it? Did you log any activities?

I look forward to your reply!

I had a high amount of steps the previous day as I ran a 10 miler, but it was not as if those steps were carried over. The difference between the previous day and that day was as if I ran a half marathon, and I was just sitting around. I left my fitbit on my nightstand as I always do at night, and wore it during the day. I did not have any activities.

Thanks!
