My fit bit versa screen has 2 blue lines on each side of the screen, no matter which screen I scroll too it's still the same, it seems to be damaged, does anyone know why or how to fix it?

Hi @DDonaghy Try restarting yoir Versa several times. If thay doesnt fix it try a Factory Reset (settings app and scroll down to About). If that doesnt fix it please come back here.

@DDonaghy welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since its screen has 2 blue lines that don't go away when you swipe it.

I'd like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved after following the restart process that shared @NellyG.

In addition, please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit and see if the lines are still showing on the screen.

Keep @NellyG and me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

@YasinR Is your Versa out of warranty?  Fitbit wont replace it if it is. That is normal for any company. Warranty covers the circumstances covered by the document, not other circumstances.

@YasinR I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry to hear that your Versa is not longer under the warranty period. The warranty period is good for 365 days starting from the date of first setup.

I totally understand how you feel about this since this helps us to keep improving our products and services.

Thank you for your contribution my friend @NellyG.

I'll be around if any question arises.

I’m sorry to hear that the watch is damaged. I’ve only had mine two years and it’s doing the same thing. Guess I’ll have to replace it. With an Apple Watch.

Hi @Shedancer, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Fitbit Versa has blue lines as well. I understand how frustrating this is for you.

If you haven't done so, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, monitor your watch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

I also have lines on either side of the screen but mine are orange. I have tried all that has been said here but still have the lines. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi @SallMarsden, thank you for participating in our Fitbit Community. I appreciate the time you spent trying the steps that have been shared in this thread. I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if the lines disappear from the screen.

Keep me posted.
