My version lite watch keeps displaying download app message. I have deleted my old accounts twice and re started the whole process on a number of occasions but nothing seems to work.

Hi @Nightwing85, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa asks you to download the Fitbit app. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, try setting up your watch from scratch as instructed in this help page and see if the issue gets fixed.

I have tried everything that has been described in the manuals that were very helpful by the way but it still keeps saying the same thing.
