So this is my second fit bit- this is a replacement that was sent to me last year after my first Fitbit stoped working. I’m really disappointed I’m having an issue AGAIN! This is not a cheap product and it seems that many people have issues with it!!
so I had no Issues with my fit it up until last week. It wouldn’t power on so I assumed it needed to be charged. When I put it on the charger it began charging but after a few minutes turned off. I ended up having another charger from my first Fitbit so I tried using that charger thinking maybe the charger I was using was defective. It charged my fit bit bit as soon as I took it off the charger it turned off and wouldn’t turn back on. After reading the support forums online I decided to do a hard reset. Since the fit bit would turn off when removed from the charger I did the reset through the app. Now, the fit bit showed a red x and says “data not cleared sync and try again”. I’m not sure what to do at this point, it still turns off when taken off the charger. I’ve tried hard resetting with the buttons but the device does not turn unless on the charger. Any suggestions?!
