Versa shuts down and it doesn’t hold a charge

My Fitbit  becomes frustrating it shuts down totally black and takes a while to come back up. Also after fully charging it it has not yet to last a day before i have to charge again  iI did purchase a protection plan with it should i be doing some thing  thank you.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it turns off randomly and the battery drains fast.

 

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, try the tips listed in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your Versa. Finally, monitor your watch for the next 48 hours and see if the issues get fixed.

I have been having the same issue.  Twice this week, my Versa 2 screen has gone completely white then shut off completely.  I contacted support on Tuesday and they suggested to do a battery test.  I fully charged my Versa 2 on Tuesday and re-synced it as they instructed all day Wednesday.  This morning, my battery life was at 32% then the screen went white to green then off completely and now won't turn on.  I have had this Fitbit since Christmas (received as a gift) and it has died at least 5 times in the past month on me and will not hold a charge.  I owned a Alta prior to this and never had any issues with it.  I'm very disappointed that this Fitbit, it is defective and a waste of money!!  I upgrade as I wanted to capture my exercise more accurately and have had nothing but issues with this Versa 2.  I haven't even had the opportunity to use all the apps on it as I'm afraid it will just die.  Does anyone know how to fix this issue?  I would really appreciate some input on how to fix this.

My Versa lite, will not charge. I have contacted customer service two times today. Nothing they suggested has worked. I am very frustrated also. My battery was not  lasting more than a day. Started charging it last night and this morning I had no charge. I purchased in October unfortunately did not buy protection plan. I am not sure how long the warranty is but I sure hope mine is still under warranty. To much to pay for this and it doesn’t last any longer.

I was going to call tonight but it sounds like it’s not worth it. Maybe I’ll contact the store it was purchased from in Hope if getting a refund or replacement.

I have the same issue and Customer was absolutely no hope, I was told that is a known issue from the hardware update and that if your Versa is beyond warranty unfortunately there is nothing that they can do, so basically you run the update and if it fries your Versa there is nothing that can be done.

I changed the watch face on my versa and that solved the problem. Maybe this will work for you.
