I have seen previous posts about the sleep tracking being wrong by both time actually slept and listing the wrong day as well. I have not seen any real fix to this problem by fitbit. What is going on? I synced it multiple times and the info is still incorrect. It is telling me how much I slept tonight, as in the night that hasn't occurred yet. Is there an update for the app or os needed? I downloaded the app a couple of days ago so it should be the latest available update from google play store. I am ready to sell on ebay if this isn't fixed soon as I am now more concerned about the false readings and if the HR is to be trusted either.

@reidwam, welcome to our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not tracking nor syncing your sleep properly. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
If you haven't done so, please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, log out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in. Finally, monitor your sleep and see if the issue gets fixed.
In addition, I'd like to share this help page which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep.
Regarding your inquiry, check out this help article which contains the steps to update the firmware of your Fitbit watch. In case your watch is already updated, the process will notify you.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
