Versa still doesn't measure stairs!

I've asked this question before, and called the company and was assured months ago that this bug would be fixed. I've got a short staircase in my home 10 steps but normal to fairly deep, and sometimes Versa recognizes my flights, and sometimes it doesn't. I've been up these stairs at least 8 times today, and not one trip was recognized by the Versa.  Conversely, sometimes I will see that Versa has logged stairs when I've been in my car and have done NO stairs at all.  Anyone?

Hi @rosiequeenofc  Counting stairs is NOT an exact science. The Versa relies on air pressure to measue stairs and air pressure varies forna numbe of other reasons (weather, wind etc). You will never get an exact stair count from a device that measures air pressure. The best you can hope for is a reasonable approximation. I live in a spot with very windy and variable weather with lots of fronts coming through. I have removed the stair count from my Versa and my dashboard screen to save myself having to look at innaccurate counts. That doesn't mean it isnt a reasonable way to count stairs in calmer locations. But it is not good in my area, and maybe not in yours.

Mine is hit or miss too, so I always raise the fitbit arm over my head at the top step. That usually does it.
