I purchased my Versa online on June 24, 2018. It randomly shut off on March 5, 2020. After several days of troubleshooting attempts and chatting with support, I've concluded that the battery is toast. The device works when connected to a charger but once taken off the charger it shuts down.
I'm trying to decide if I should replace the device. 18 months seems like a really short time for it to stop working.

@kensilyexplores Thanks for being part of our Community!
Sorry for the delay in my reply and to hear that your Versa isn't holding its charge after 18 months. Fitbit devices are designed to last long but it will vary as it will depend on how they are used (using a proper charging adapter that is UL certified for example). Still you can always take advantage of the extended warranty available for new purchases at the Fitbit store. Even if you purchase from another seller like Amazon then you can also find these options with them. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
Let me know how it goes.
