My Versa stopped receiving notifications a few days ago. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and it still won't receive notifications. It's not even receiving the test call notification. It's still paired to my phone and syncing with the app but I'm not receiving notifications on my Versa. I don't know what else to do.

I've tried everything, every thread has said to do for troubleshooting. Checked every setting, uninstalled and reinstalled my app, factory reset my watch, checked bluetooth, etc. This has been going on for about 3.5 weeks and it's driving me crazy not being able to get notifications. My Versa 3 is brand new, my Versa 2 kicked the bucket about a month ago and I replaced it with the Versa 3. I had notifications for about a week and then they disappeared.

@Ren1213- it's possibly not something you can fix if it is the bug in the latest Fitbit App.

It’s a shame they didn’t just pull the up update and roll us back to how it was before - at least then we would have what we had paid for!

I am having all of he same issues

I'd like to add what makes this even more egregious is that weeks go by before the issue is acknowledged and no ETA on a solution is provided for a paid service. I guess Fitbit doesn't have to worry about customer satisfaction since they're the only game in town.

I just realized mine also no longer tracks sleep or exercise. Did anyone else's stop doing that as well?

Mine tracks sleep but doesn't break it down like it used to. It no longer tracks exercise

I wonder how long we are going to have to wait for an update. I just checked, I last updated my app on July 22nd. I've been checking pretty much every hour for a new update lol.

Still no update as to when this issue is going to be resolved (if at all). They know that this issue exists, but that's it.
I've left a 1 star review (because there does not seem to be any other accountability for this company) and I'm actively looking for a new smart watch.
I used to love my Fitbit - but this is ridiculous! No accountability, no customer service, no fixing or work arounds, nadda.
Just a whole bunch of angry users that will never buy Fitbit products/services again. Hope that they are happy with that.

I was not affected by the glitchy software update but had issues with my fitbit a few months back where no notifications would come through. I did all the usual troubleshooting steps which included factory resetting my device. I found some old post on a fitbit thread from a couple of years ago and the person mentioned there being a discrepancy in the time displayed on the fitbit vs the cellphone. I didn't even think it was possible but sure enough, I checked the time on my two devices and they were a minute apart. I turned the settings off and back on for automatic time and date on my phone, restarted both devices and the times were both the same, the tried the test call notifications, which worked and I was back in business. I think what is also annoying is that not only has fitbit been silent despite all these users complaining that their devices aren't working, but a number of people have gone to the trouble of factory resetting their devices. As of October 13//22, fitbit is discontinuing fitbit connect so you can no longer transfer music to your versa 2. Should people find the need to factory reset at some point after Oct 13, they will lose their music and not be able to put it back on. This makes me angry as I bought my versa 2 for this feature. Will be looking at getting a smartest other than fitbit as customer service and support is.pathetic.

OKAY! I have been troubleshooting all night after it hasn't worked for me all week. The only thing that seemed to work for me was to UNINSTALL the fitbit app on the Android and reinstall it. You'll have to either remember your login info or reset your password but that is the ONLY THING that worked for me. I'm able to get text and call notifications now. Hope this works for you guys!
