Versa stopped registering heart rate

My Fitbit versa recently updated on 5/25/2020. Now when I record a workout my heart rate is not registering. I've never had this problem in the past. I've factory reset my device, cleaned the sensor and made sure I'm wearing my Fitbit probably. I've shutdown my Fitbit and turned it back on. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Nothing is fixing the problem. I'm currently in a college running course where my grade is based on my heart rate levels that are recorded by my Fitbit. Im going to fail the class because of this fitbit update. Please help.
