I am very frustrated with Fitbit. Mine was working fine until Monday night. It won't sync unless i do an update but update fails. I have spoken to their customer service and they say it's not compatible with my phone. It was until Monday!! Does anyone know how to bypass the update??

Looks like this is a bigger issue than one user and phone compatibility, what's going on and when will Fitbit be rectifying? Pretty sure it's not a coincidence that a whole bunch of people suddenly can't sync with phones that were previously working fine

I am having the same problem, my watch is 20 months old and upto 4 days ago worked fine. now wont sync and I have performed all the tips for re syncing it over the past 4 days. I now have a watch that wont restart after doing factory rest so is now useless. I am also very disappointed

Here's my take. They came out with a new watch and now all the old ones aren't connecting. Seems fishy to me. I'm not buying a new one when mine is not even a year old. It can't be everyone's phones are no longer compatible. Way to lose customers Fitbit.

Having the same issues as of today mine won’t sync and my time is off by like 2 hours, I don’t even see where I can do an update. Had my Versa 2 for a year, and have had the same iPhone when I first got my Versa 2. Very frustrating when I not only use it for fitness tracking but also for work. Now it will not sync at all 😤😡

I’m having the exact same problem. Mine worked fine until last night, but now it won’t sync at all.

My Versa stopped syncing Tuesday. I have uninstalled app and deleted my Versa and reinstalled and still won't sync. Is also 2 hours behind. Mine is 15 months old but I have the extended warranty. Looks like it is a fitbit problem.

I have had my Versa 2 for almost a year and have had the same phone for the last 2 years. My Versa 2 stopped syncing the last couple of days and the clock is 6 hours behind. I updated my Versa 2 software a few months ago, and had been working fine until this week. I tried uninstalling the app and have tried restarting both along with changing the clock settings to select the correct time zone. I just unsynced the Versa 2 from my phone's bluetooth and now when I scan to repair the bluetooth, it doesn't even pick up the fitbit.

My Versa stopped syncing at 5:20 yesterday afternoon 😑. They need to stop placing blame on our phones and fix their app!

SO frustrating. I switched back to my Charge2 and now that won't synch either

Me too. I won't synch with my iPhone, my iPad or my Surface Pro. I'm ready to toss both of my Fitbit products and buy another brand.

Having the same issue as are many others. Even if Fitbit comes up with a patch I won't be able to update the firmware because I can't synch.

I guess we're both having the same issues. I just came on the app to sync and not even seeing that option. The whole app platform has changed. Not user friendly. Times if off by 2 hours, not recording sleep etc. Watch is expensive but now useless!

I have been having the same problem. Now it is not only with my Versa Lite but with my Charge2. I've tried all of the suggestions in the earlier threads with no avail. Even if Fitbit creates a patch to the problem all of us are having, how will we be able to install it if we can't synch. I've tried synching with my iPhone, iPad and Surface Pro! It is so frustrating! I can't even wear the Versa Lite as a watch. It is 11:40 AM as I write this but my Versa says it 9:08AM.

Wish I had seen this thread before doing update. Week old Versa won’t switch on! Wtf??
