Versa stopped tracking heart rate and short battery life

Hello,

I've had my Versa for about 13 months when I noticed my heart rate was not being monitored.  I would do a reset but the HR still wouldn't register, along with tracking my sleep, and then there was a red light underneath instead of the usual green.  I continued to use it, as it was my watch and still tracked my steps.  Then, I noticed the battery life became shorter and shorter.  I did another reset, but still have the same problems.  Now, I can't wear the Versa for more than 24 hours without it running out of a charge.

I know this is repetitive as I've seen other users with this problem but not very clear on what the solution is besides being sent a new Fitbit.

I don't have to explain why this is all very frustrating and how tempted I am to maybe get a garmin watch instead.  I like this model, but I am fearful that since it had been just over a year of having it, I won't be covered for any kind of compensation.

Thank you.

I am sorry to hear your Fitbit Versa stopped tracking your heart rate and the battery is draining faster than expected. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help you. The heart rate affects your sleep tracking and before considering other options, I would like to confirm if you've followed our complete troubleshooting suggestions from this help article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

Regarding the issue with battery, since the battery use is affected by various factors and settings, I recommend following our tips for preventing battery drain at Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Thank you. I have my heart rate option turned on. I have adjusted the
"dimness" and settings that affect me seeing the screen turn on every time
I turn my wrist. The Fitbit won't vibrate when my phone rings or text
message notitifcation even though I have them turned on. Obviously very
frustrating. Even after I reset my Fitbit, none of those functions work,
including HR and notifications.

Any other suggestions?
Thank you
