Starting a new topic as the forums wont let me reply to any other thread. Updated my watch several days ago. HR worked fine prior to the update. Once update was complete the HR function did not work. Customer service was nice but gave me all the canned comments off of their sheet. I had already visited the forums and followed all steps to restart/resync; everything. Their suggestion was to buy a new watch. Escalated to a supervisor and they told me the update could not be responsible for that (all the users with the same error suggest otherwise). Causality is a real thing. Then, last night put my watch on at 8 PM with a 100% charge and woke up to a dead watch. Also a common problem since the update. Just charged it and can watch the percentage drop in real time. Yes, I am using a Fitbit charger and yes, it is the same outlet I have used to do it for the last 12 months. Since the recharge the touch screen has also become non-responsive. This update needs to be troubleshot quickly or I will be like the many other Fitbit users who are switching to an Apple Watch.

Hi @DrKlees, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the heart rate feature stopped working on your Fitbit Versa.
I was able to get in touch with our Support team in regards your case. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is no longer under warranty. The warrant period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup. I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.
