Versa stopped working after swimming

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had my Fitbit for a week (versa) I was hesitant to get it wet even though it is said it’s waterproof . I decided to go swimming with it today and afterward dried it off with a towel . The watch is now not working the same and buttons arnt working and I restarted it lots of time . I don’t understand what’s happening and don’t know what to do about it .

Hi @Zep1234 I have flagged a moderator to come and help you. You should be able to swim wearing your Versa - I do regularly. So it sounds as if there might be a fault with yours.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Zep1234! I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for troubleshooting your Versa prior to contacting us.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Zep1234! Versa is swim-proof in a lake, pool, or ocean (up to 50 meters). For more information about wearing your Fitbit device, see our Wear and Care page. If your device is not syncing, I'd recommend taking a look at the article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and that they have helped you with this.

Thanks for flagging the post @NellyG.

@MarreFitbit

I did everything right with my fitbit versa ,This wasn't the first watch i own with fitbit i started with the charge 2 that  was more waterproof . All i did was swim in 3 feet water which was a pool the first time my versa blank out so they replaces that one , the second never seen water , the display just went out the watch still work because my step are still showing up on my phone . but for a $200 watch the display should work. but I got 25% off i should be happy i guess.  just saying
