Fitbit claims that their Versa is water resistant up to 50 meters and there are swimming lap exercise functions. You'd think that this means you can swim with it, right? Wrong. Screen started to glitch after day 3 of swimming and then it died (forever). There are tons of other posts about this happening. They will not fix the Fitbit and they will not send you a new one, so don't waste your breath- if yours is damaged, just toss it and do your research on another brand.
