Hi there, @geni3396. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please note that all Fitbit trackers and smartwatches are water-resistant, which means they're rainproof and splash-proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. You can swim or shower with certain Fitbit devices. Fitbit Versa series are swimproof up to 50 meters in a lake, pool, or ocean.

Does your Versa vibrates when you connect it to the charger? Do you still see the green lights flashing on the back? If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Nevertheless, keep in mind when a Fitbit device suffers damage while under warranty, you can contact Customer Support. Discounts and replacements depend on tracker model and other factors.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the fast reply. I connected it to a charger and it was charging! I think it just went out of power. Is there a way to check the battery health?
