Very frustrating, more often than not, my Versa stops recording my walk before it is over with no record of it. I didn't stop or pause it, I saw it working 3/4 of the way through my walk but when I went to stop it at the end of my walk and check the record of the walk it was gone.

It's great to see you here @DM58.
Are you verifying that your watch is connecting properly with your phone's GPS? Keep in mind that if the connection between these devices stops, you won't be able to record all your activity. I recommend following the instructions provide in the help article Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?.
You can also register your walking with SmartTrack.
Let me know the outcome.

I wasn't concerned with the GPS. my concern was that the entire walk disappeared. I checked my Versa a few times and it was recording stats but when I got home to stop it, there was no record at all of my walk.

2 more times in 3 days a walk that was being recorded stopped shortly before I was finished with no record of the walk. Versa is garbage.

Another day another time the tracking stopped shortly before I Was done.
As far as I'm concerned you defrauded me of $300. I will NEVER but anothe crappy Fitbit
How about this:
