2 days ago my grandma gave me her old Fitbit versa because she had upgraded. So I took it and I charged it up to 100 and did a factory reset. Now all that shows is a 0% sign after a couple of hours leaving it off the charger.

@Nwaaviator welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the battery is draining fast even though you have charged it completely.
Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it takes a charge.
Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

I have had my versa for about a year and a half. Normally it works just fine, but it doesn't seem to be charging anymore. It seems to be completely depleted from power.
When I place it in the charger it turns on, and it looks like it's charging but it has been stuck at 0% for 2 days now.
I have tried all the things on trouble shooting pages, but as soon as I take it out the charger it shuts off

I'm facing the same issue. Few days back I did a factory reset since I was facing some trouble with my versa. After the reset, it never came back to life. I tried charging it a couple of times but there was nothing on the screen; even after doing a restart (back button and lower right button). Although when I took it off the charger, after few hours when I tried to again restart the versa, it showed me a 0% battery notification. When I put it back to charging, it again turns black and shows nothing (not even the 0% notification). Not sure what is happening with the device. Can you please help?

I am having the same problem. Did a factory reset as a last resort when my Versa would not charge. Now it flashed a 0%battery screen and goes black. I have been attempting to charge it, but it does not indicate if it is at all. Support was no help either and basically told me that I need to replace my Versa. They also said a factory reset is not recommended. 🤷🏼:female_sign:

Less than 2 years old.
The Versa is not getting warm. Just lifeless at this point.

Hi,
I am having the very same issue with a Versa Lite I bought late last year. Was used daily and worked perfectly ok for 4 months, then just stopped charging for no reason. I have tried all supposed 'fixes' and none have worked. The connection points are clean, I've tried different plug-in chargers, different USB ports, different charging cradles, charging for up to two days, etc. and the outcome remains the same. Mount the versa lite in the cradle, 10 seconds later the screen flash shows a battery with 0 % and then it goes off. No residual heat, just lifeless, useless. It was a birthday present for my wife and she wants to get it working. What do I need to do to get this piece of tech up and running again?

Had the same problem with my Versa showing a battery outline with 0%. Assumed wasn't the battery since it was like that for a couple weeks. Decided to break open the charger and found a disconnected wire to one of the pins. Resoldered it and now my Versa has found life again. Just need to purchase a new charger.

Same issue. I tried charging for around 8 hours, used 2 different chargers (verified they both charge using a working versa), and i don't even get the 0% icon anymore. It's just a black screen and no amount of charging and button combination presses is fixing it. It happened after a factory reset as well.

Were you able to find a solution? My wife's Versa Lite is doing the exact same thing described. I have the Versa and mine charges fine, I've even tried my charger with her Lite and it still just flashes the 0% and does nothing. It's been about 4-5 days of trying different things from these forums and troubleshooting FAQs.

I contacted Fitbit directly and they determined that there is a battery fault. The "pebble" as they call it was never going to work as a result, no matter how much you try and charge it. They arranged for a replacement pebble to be shipped and it was received three days later. Just reattached the original strap, charged it and all worked fine.

Thanks for the reply. I contacted their support as well and was informed that they were going to replace via warranty. Then the email arrived and said it was beyond the 1 year warranty period and instead gave me a 35% off coupon towards a new product.

I had the same problem this morning.
2 days ago, I charged my fitbit versa 2. Last night, I got confused because the batt is at 7%. So I charged it again. This morning, it was fully dead. I followed the troubleshoot of cleaning it with alcohol, changing usb adapters, from pc, laptop and wall outlet. I can't do the hold button to reset/reboot because as soon as I remove it from the charger, it will die before I even get a chance to hold the button. Right now, it rebooted and I've been charging it for almost 3 hours but it's still at 0%.
Please help and TIA
