Versa stuck on Fitbit logo

My Versa is constantly flashing the logo. I’ve tried pressing all 3 buttons and letting go of the bottom right when logo goes away. Never vibrated. Tried changing the clock face too, won’t let me. Says it’s doing an update. Any ideas?

Hi there, @Oliver7. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa. 

Please note this issue comes from performing a factory reset without first unpairing your Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings. With that being said, I suggest following the steps below in the order listed (or making sure you've done them as instructed):

  • Unpair your Versa from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app. 
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.

My Versa 2 ( barely 1.5 years old) will not be found by any device I have.  Used to work up until November 24 or so.  Now will not sync.

Tried on 4 devices: 2 iPads and 2 Android phones.

Rebooted each many times to no avail.  
Factory reset done on Versa 2 and none of the 4 devices can find it.  
App uninstalled and reinstalled several times on all 4 devices with no success.

Versa is sitting at logo saying to download the app to get started but not working.

All 4 devices restarted multiple times to no avail.

 

Best guess is that since there is a Versa 4 now, the Versa 2s will ‘develop’ problems to force customers to buy a newer item.

Going to switch to less expensive and more reliable Android devices unless there is a magic solution available.
