Versa stuck on 'Unlock with your phone'

During a surf trip my versa suddenly started saying 'Unlock with Phone'. I have tried changing the pin in the settings on the app but just get told constantly that the versa cannot be found. It has been paired though as all my steps are showing in the app since the versa has been logged. I looked for advice on here and have tried to reset the device by pressing the 3 buttons for 12 secs etc but the Fitbit logo never appears. I've even tried un-pairing from the app which has worked but now I am stuck as I can't get it to pair as it can't find it, and I can't get a reset to work so now have a totally useless versa. What else can I do?

@Confidentlyella By unpairing from the app you mean deleting it? If yes, then it's pretty much game over. You have to either perform (successfully) 3-button factory reset or contact Customer Support as you will need a replacement device. 

 

  1. Press and hold all 3 buttons until Fitbit logo flashes (this may take up to 3 minutes)
  2. Release the bottom right button
  3. Wait until you feel strong vibration and release the other buttons.

You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear.

 

You mentioned having no luck, so you indeed might have to reach out to fitbit.
