My versa swimming stats are always inaccurate. I swam 12 laps this morning (50 yrds each) and the fitbit Versa recorded it as 6 laps and 325 yards. How can I correct this?

Hi @CarlAaron I have discoverd since swimming with Fitbits that you need to learn how to tell it when you finish a lap. Fitbits need a clear signal that a lap is completed and the way to do this is to stop moving you arms for a second or two. I find that how I do my turns doesnt matter as long as my arms stop for that couple of seconds. Either stop at the wall and pause very briefly, or do a tumble turn with a good push off so you can glide with no arms for a couple of seconds. The worst thing you can do is swim around the turn. My Versa counts my laps pretty well flawlessly - usually spot on with a very occasional lap out (over 50 to 60 laps). Good luck!
